Taelin was born on the world Dar-Sang. While it's a beautiful world, with large waterfalls, beautiful forests and crystal pools. It's education system sucks. Taelin grew up a normal and playful sort, but in the interest of his eventual reign his parents decided their boy needed to be educated. So on his twenty-first birthday (roughly 18 in human years) he was sent to earth. It wasn't a pleasant ride, but it could have been worse. Except for that darn Elton John song kept playing the whole way, and the food was pathetic, not to mention the turbulence... but that's another story, anyway. Taelin arrived on earth to attend Kuzuru High School as a freshman. His relative lack of education has resulted in a somewhat simplistic outlook on life and rather naive beliefs. he's also extremely curious, about other people and their stuff. He's been known to stalk people hoping to learn more about them or their strange practices. Before I can go any farthur I need to tell you something about the home race of Dar-Sang. Their dragons. Not all the time, the people of Dar-Sang can assume a humanoid appearance at will, but when they get angry, or have an outburst. In their dragon for they resemble small, rather non-dangerous looking cuty dragons, something they're not too fond of being called. Either way to keep taelin from changing into his larger form in the middle of class he's been given a magic ring that will help him maintain the human form. Due to the reputation Earth has gotten as a rather rough place, what with all the aliens and stuff, Taelin has been trained in many forms of martial arts and has gained quite high ranks in all of them. In addition his dragon form grants him a few benefits. While the small wings are too small for him to fly he can jump quite well. In addition as a dragon he may breath fire at will (You can decide damage/bonk), his scales in this form also reduce damage by (Once again your choice). The final thing to note is that taelin has one more problem with his shapechanging. Sneezing. Anytime he sneezes he automatically changes, regardless of the ring (A real problem in woodshop!) Taelin lives in a small dorm style apartment just a block away from school and can often be seen anywhere something interesting may happen. He likes heavy metal music, and sugar (a rare delicacy on his planet- also instills a sugar rush if he east too much). Taelin stands almost 5' 7", with a top of long raven hair (so black it has blue highlights), his eyes are a striking metallic gold, and he's a rather good looking guy. In dragon form he's covered by dark black scale, and has a small topping of red horns above his eyes and down his spine. The underside of his dragon self is covered with large gold scales.
