Miles was born on the planet Logos, the galactic library world. His father was one of the chief librarians of Spacetime until he violated one of the three laws by sheer accident. So he was busted to an obscure post on a newly discovered planet. Earth. Of course, right after that, Earth was discovered again, as the coolest planet in the galaxy, but such is life. Myles LIVES for books, and the library. Unfortunately, at least from his point of view, he's a throwback to the days of Logos' barbaric past, with the build of one of the ancient warriors and an incredible strength to match. This makes things rather difficult when working with delicate materials in the special collections section. His teleport power is limited, and based on his membership as a Junior Librarian ! of spacetime-he teleports between certain critical storage volumes of books. (Sort of a bibliophilic version of Urd's TV screen jumping.) He's very conscientious about this membership, and therefor volunteers what's normally his study hall period to work in the school library. This has, however, resulted in something of a jump in the check out rates by young women who're hoping to get in his good graces. Unfortunately for them, Myles wouldn't know what a date was or how to make out unless they explained it. Slowly. And then he'd probably faint from the nosebleed that followed.
